ABOUT SMARAN.AI
Built to beyours.
SMARAN.AI is a personal AI assistant that lives on your own computer and phone, not on someone else's server. It is built by one developer, Shashwat Mishra, around a simple idea: an assistant should work for you and keep what it learns to itself.
CHAPTER 01 · THE IDEA
Your assistant, not a rented one
Most assistants run in a data centre and send every word there. SMARAN.AI runs local models through Ollama on your own hardware, so your conversations, documents and memory stay on your machine. Cloud models are there when you want them, with your own keys.
CHAPTER 02 · WHAT IT DOES
It talks, sees, builds and acts
Speak to it, or wake it with “Hey SMARAN”. It understands what is on your screen, builds websites, images and video from a sentence, opens apps and plays music, and controls your PC, always asking before anything that cannot be undone, and never paying or buying on its own.
CHAPTER 03 · EVERYWHERE YOU WORK
One assistant, every device
A desktop app for Windows and Linux, an Android app that pairs with your PC, a command-line client, and SMARAN.AI Codex for VS Code. The desktop app, a linked phone and the command line share one account, one history and one memory; the VS Code extension works beside your code with its own model settings.
CHAPTER 04 · HOW IT IS MADE
Open, and careful
SMARAN.AI is free to download and use. The app only listens on your own machine unless you pair a device, keys stay in your own settings, and every release is published with its files and full release notes.
